In implant dentistry, accurate torque control is essential to prevent insufficient or excessive tightening. For this reason, GT-Medical offers two types of torque ratchets, together with a new adapter designed to extend compatibility with contra-angle driver tips.
ROUND SPRING TORQUE RATCHET
Allows the torque to be selected easily and accurately.
Available torque settings
10, 20, 30 and 40 N·cm, with the option to adjust intermediate values.
Operation
Once the selected torque is reached, the mechanism releases the tightening action to help prevent overtightening.

ROUND BEAM TORQUE RATCHET
Allows torque to be controlled through the deflection of the beam and a direct visual reading.
Available torque settings
15, 25, 35 and 45 N·cm.
Operation
During tightening, the beam deflects and indicates the applied torque on the scale.

WHICH SCREWDRIVERS IS IT COMPATIBLE WITH?
GT-Medical ratchets are compatible with screwdrivers whose head has a diameter of Ø 7 mm, including certain models from Nobel®, Straumann®, Ti-Care®/ Mozo-Grau®.
IMPORTANT: always check the diameter and ensure that the screwdriver fits correctly before use.
NEW ADAPTER FOR CONTRA-ANGLE DRIVER TIPS
Allows contra-angle driver tips to be used with ratchets featuring a Ø 7 mm round connection.
It can also be used independently as a short handle, making it easier to operate in confined spaces.
Click-retention system
Helps confirm that the driver tip has been correctly inserted before torque is applied.
