GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The Octa® Abutment by GT-Medical is a one-piece component made of Grade 5 Titanium, compatible with Osstem® implants featuring a Internal Hex - TS System Regular connection. It features an upper OCTA anti-rotational geometry, allowing its use in single-unit restorations when the impression is taken directly at the abutment level.
FEATURES:
- OCTA anti-rotational geometry, ideal for precise single-unit restorations with abutment-level impressions.
- Monoblock design, with no internal interfaces and no risk of microleakage.
- Compatible with the GT-Medical carrier & driver tool for safe and accurate intraoral placement (sold separately).
CLINICAL USE & GEOMETRY:
Indicated for screw-retained multiple or single-unit restorations on Osstem® Internal Hex - TS System Regular implants, where a secure fit, biomechanical stability, and long-term reliability are required.
Its compact and robust structure enhances prosthetic stability thanks to its M2.0 internal thread, offering greater mechanical strength than the typical M1.4 thread used in Multi-Unit® abutments. The external bevel promotes passive seating and improves the lateral stability of the final restoration.
