Conical Ti-Base
CONICAL Ti-BASE
MATERIAL
The Gt-Medical Conical Ti-Base is made of Titanium Grade 5 with a mirror micro-polished finish to prevent bacterial plaque adhesion.
CONNECTION
The connection of the Conical Ti-Base to the implant can be made using Gt-Medical's Universal Screw for straight channels, or using the DINALOCK Universal Screw for angled channels.
On the other hand, the connection of the Ti-Base to the prosthetic structure is carried out by cementation.
GEOMETRY
The geometry of the Conical Ti-Base is divided into 4 parts:
- Connection surface to the implant, rigorously designed with the original measurements of the corresponding implant, offering machining tolerances never exceeding +/- 0.01mm.
- Cementation trunk, with a grooved cylindrical surface to facilitate cement adhesion. It is available in a cementation height of "S" corresponding to 3.8mm and for cases where the implant is deeply submerged, a cementation height of "L" is available, with a length of 5.3mm.
It presents six flat faces that ensure anti-rotation of the Conical Ti-Base within the prosthetic structure. They are angularly oriented with the implant connection and with the flat face of the scan body. - Gingival shoulder, with a height of approximately 0.5mm and a micro-polished surface finish that facilitates the peripheral growth of the gingival mucosa. For cases where the implant is deeply submerged, other gingival heights between 0 and 4.5mm are available.
- Screw seat, made with an angular tolerance of +/- 0.5 degrees, preventing micro-movements that could cause possible screw loosening.
CAD-CAM
Using the Gt-Medical Ti-Base implant library, the prosthetic structure can be digitally designed, using straight or angled screw channels.
