GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The Original Prime Screw from GT-Medical is made from high-quality Grade 5 Titanium, sourced from the same supplier used by the world’s leading implant manufacturers.
AVAILABLE SCREW TYPES:
1. Straight Channel Screw
Standard screw designed for conventional restorations with straight access to the screw channel. It offers excellent mechanical performance and precise fit across a wide range of clinical situations.
It replicates the geometry, seating, and dimensions of the original screw with high precision, ensuring full mechanical compatibility and long-term stability.
This screw can be used with both original abutments and GT-Medical Prime Series abutments, allowing a restoration that is faithful to the reference system. It is tightened using the same screwdriver as the original system, enabling easy clinical integration without additional instruments.
2. Angled Channel Screw (Dinalock® version)
Specifically designed for cases where the screw channel needs to be angled for esthetic reasons or to correct implant divergence.
Main features:
- DLC coating (Diamond-Like Carbon): increases wear resistance and reduces friction during tightening.
- Safe angulation up to 25°, with torque application of up to 35 Ncm even in angled positions.
- Intraoral pick-up capability: enables easier clinical handling compared to most angled screws on the market.
- Exclusive compatibility: this screw must be used only with GT-Medical abutments or CAD-CAM libraries where a rotation path study has validated that:
- The screw can be properly inserted and rotated within the angled channel.
- The angled driver can reach the screw head correctly to apply the recommended torque.
The angled screw must be used with the Dinalock® driver from GT-Medical, featuring a 4-lobe geometry specifically designed to ensure secure torque transmission in angled channels.
