Analog

ANALOG IMPLANT

MATERIAL

Made of high-quality stainless steel. The implant connection has been rigorously designed to the original measurements, offering a machining tolerance never exceeding +/- 0.01mm.

USE AND GEOMETRY

Depending on the use, there are two types of analogs, both with two flat sides to ensure anti-rotation, but they differ in the method of attachment:

  • Traditional Analog for models cast in plaster, is provided with a projection that allows axial locking of movement, ensuring a firm and durable positioning.
  • Digital Analog for models made of resin by 3D printing, locking is achieved by means of a slightly tapered pin that provides unequivocal axial positioning.

NOTE:

The tapered pin is not included in the package.

GT-MEDICAL LIBRARIES

Digital analogs can be used with all Gt-Medical libraries. For proper orientation of the assembly formed by the analog, the laboratory model, and the prosthetic structure, it is very important to position the flat face of the Scan Body towards vestibular. That is, in the direction in which the conical pin insertion channel is desired.

CALIBRATION PATTERN

For a perfect fit of the digital analog in the 3D printed laboratory model, you can use the Calibration Pattern provided with 4 adjustment tolerances. The selection of the adjustment will depend on the printer you have, and a print will be made beforehand to determine this adjustment instantaneously.
